We're excited to announce Season 3 of the Fractal Ecosystem Grants Program, featuring an expanded framework to support more diverse projects within our ecosystem.
🎯 Core Principles
Retroactive Funding: We continue to reward demonstrated impact rather than promises
Rolling Submissions: Teams can apply anytime within seasonal windows
Balanced Evaluation: Maintaining our 70% technical / 30% community contribution matrix
🆕 Introducing the LFG Category
For Season 3, we're introducing a new "Let Fractal Grow" (LFG) category to support promising early-stage projects. This category represents up to 20% of our total grant allocation and is designed to encourage innovative projects that show unique potential but may not yet meet our main grant criteria.
Two Grant Categories:
1️⃣ Main Category
For projects with demonstrated technical achievement and community impact
Must meet our established evaluation criteria (70+ points)
Larger grant amounts for significant contributions
2️⃣ LFG (Let Fractal Grow) Category
For early but promising projects with unique value propositions
Lower technical requirements but must show strong differentiation
Smaller grants to encourage continued development
Focus on innovative approaches and novel use cases
